- Meet in public — busy malls, petrol stations, supermarket entrances, daylight hours.
- Inspect before you pay. Switch it on, try it, check it thoroughly. Genuine sellers expect this.
- Pay in person, after inspecting. Never send money to "reserve" an item — that's the oldest scam in the book. And never share your M-Pesa PIN with anyone.
- Keep chat on Juuhudi until you've met. If anything goes wrong, the record helps us help you.
- Trust your gut. Feels off? Walk away and report it. There's always another deal.
